Burger and Wedges
Burgers are a delicious dish, great for the family in summer. They can be made as simple or extra as you like, you could add gherkins or even swap the bread roll for brioche!
Ingredients
- 500g 10% fat beef mince
- 1 x egg
- 4 x baking potatoes
- 4 x bread rolls
- Salt, pepper, and optional herbs/spices
- Burger topping ideas: cheese, bacon, salad, and sauces.
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
- Mix together the raw mince with the egg.
- Add seasoning to taste and any other flavours such as chilli, herbs, chopped onion etc.
- Separate the mixture into four equal portions, roll into balls then flatten to the rough size of your bread roll.
- Wash potatoes and cut into equal sized and place onto a baking tray.
- Drizzle wedges with oil, season to taste and place in the oven for 25-30 minutes until cooked through.
- Fry the burgers over a medium heat, turning regularly until cooked through.
- Assemble the burger with your desired toppings and serve with the wedges.
