Pizza

This fakeaway pizza recipe makes two large pizzas and is a great one to get children involved with. It uses ham and mushroom, however you can add any toppings you prefer, or already have at home!

Ingredients

  • One tube of tomato puree
  • 500g self-raising flour, plus a sprinkle more for kneading
  • 500g plain Greek yogurt
  • 200g block of cheese
  • 200g ham
  • 100g mushrooms
  • Suggested seasonings: Mixed herbs, pepper, garlic

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 180’c / gas mark 4.
  2. To a large mixing bowl, add 500g Greek yogurt and 500g self raising flour. Mix together until a dough forms. If it is still too sticky, add a little bit more flour at a time.
  3. Split the dough into two balls of dough.
  4. Sprinkle a small amount of flour onto a surface and roll the two balls of dough out flat.
  5. Add baking paper to a baking tray and lay the pizza bases on top.
  6. Spread roughly two tablespoons of tomato puree across the pizza base. You can add herbs or garlic at this point if you would like.
  7. Finely slice 100g mushrooms and 200g ham.
  8. Add half the mushrooms and ham to each pizza.
  9. Grate 200g of cheese and sprinkle 100g each onto your pizza bases.
  10. Cook in the oven for roughly 15 minutes.
  11. Once the pizza is hot, melted, and golden, cut it up and enjoy!
